GSMC Mini Stages Rally 16th October 2011

Motorsport Photographer Sligo The GSMC Mini Stages Rally base was Germaines in Baltinglass. Danny Barry and Gordon Noble were victorious in the 2011 Germaines of Baltinglass Mini Stages Rally in their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10,  almost two minutes ahead of Thomas Fitzmaurice and Fionn Foley (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9), with Trevor Culbert and Ray Fitzpatrick in third place (Ford Escort RS),  finishing as the top two wheel drive crew.

Harvest Stages Rally - 8th October 2011

Motorsport Photographer Sligo has Images from the Harvest Stages Rally which was based in Redcastle.The penultimate round of the Dunlop National Rally Championship started with very wet conditions and for the second Year in a row Garry Jennings and his Letterkenny co-driver, Rory Kennedy held off a late challenge from Niall Maguire/Enda Sherry to win the event, Jennings who had originally planned to drive a Subaru WRC, reverted to his Mitsubishi and finished five seconds ahead of Maguire. Gary McPhillips/Gary McNern (Escort) were third – one minute and 32 seconds further behind. The Group N category was won by Trevor Bustard/Kenny Bustard (Mitsubishi).
